Cristiano Ronaldo starts new film studio

Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and famous movie director Matthew Vaughn have started a new film studio.

The studio called "UR•Marv" will make action movies using new technologywhile respecting traditional filmmaking.

Details about the first movie will be announced soon.

Ronaldo was quoted by the media as saying, “This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business.”

Vaughn said of the joint venture, "Cristiano is like a real-life superhero ... I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him."

Vaughn is known for popular titles like 'Kingsman' franchise, a sharply tailored blend of espionage satire and violence, produced by his production company Marv. 

Ronaldo, one of the best soccer players in history, has been growing his business in media.

Last year, he invested in a Portuguese media company and started his own YouTube channel that offers fans an intimate glimpse into his life through a variety of content.

This new studio shows Ronaldo’s plans to stay in the entertainment world even after his soccer career.
